The sporty new
2001 BMW Z3 Roadster continues to be popular as much for its
style and performance as its reputation as a status symbol.
This year, three stunning models are offered, BMW Z3 2.5i
Roadster Convertible, BMW Z3 3.0i Roadster Convertible, and
BMW Z3 M Roadster Convertible. Each model has a seating capacity
of two passengers, with two-door entry.
Under the hood,
each BMW Z3 Roadster Convertible touts a powerful six-cylinder
engine with DOHC. The Z3 2.5i model produces 170 horsepower,
the Z3 3.0i achieves 225 horsepower, and the Z3 M takes performance
further to a very respectable 240 horsepower.
Standard transmission
is five-speed manual, with automatic transmission available
as options on the first two models. Drive type is two-wheel
rear, and each vehicle zips along the highways on performance
SBR tires.
Safety standards
are never overlooked by BMW, and the Z3 Roadster Convertible
line up is no exception. Each vehicle is equipped with ABS
