The thoroughly enjoyable 2001 Dodge
Intrepid Sedan cruises the streets and highway with
three models this year, Intrepid SE Sedan, Intrepid
ES Sedan, and Intrepid R/T Sedan. With four doors and
the capacity to seat five passengers comfortably, the
Intrepid is an attractive choice for those seeking comfort

Under the hood, each of the Dodge
Intrepid Sedan models sports a six-cylinder engine,
standard transmission is four speed automatic, and drive

touring tires. The Intrepid SE Sedan and Intrepid ES
Sedan feature a DOHC and achieve 200 horsepower and
202 horsepower respectively. Taking it to another level
is the Intrepid R/T Sedan, with a SOHC and an exciting
248 horsepower for superior highway travels.
Safety features cover the essentials
for peace of mind. Among the standards listed are a
driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag,
and front head restraints. ABS brakes have been included
in the Intrepid R/T Sedan, and is available as an option
in the other two models. The Intrepid ES and R/T Sedan

air bags are available as an option in all models. With

safety locks are standard on all vehicles.

each model. A handy keyless entry system comes with
the Intrepid ES Sedan, and is available as a package
in the other models. The Intrepid ES Sedan’s rear
seat also folds down to accommodate extra luggage and
equipment, also offered either as an option or package
in the other sedans. An AM/FM stereo with CD player
comes as an enjoyable standard in the Dodge Intrepid
R/T Sedan, and is offered as an option in the SE and
ES Sedans. A theft deterrent package is a good choice
to protect the ES Sedan, and you can choose to finish
off the R/T Sedan with stylish leather seating as an
option.
