eight-cylinder engine pumps out 275 horsepower, and
the four-speed automatic transmission responds well.
Drive type is two-wheel rear, and the Yukon is equipped
with all-terrain radials to grip the road.
Safety features include ABS brakes, driver depowered
air bag, passenger depowered air bag, side impact air
bags, front fog lights, both front and rear head restraints,
rear wiper, child safety locks, and optional traction
control. Standard luxuries range from air conditioning
to cruise/speed control, keyless entry system, power
door locks, dual power mirrors, theft deterrent system,
power windows, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player. Options
include limited slip differential, moonroof/sunroof,
and leather seating is available as a package.

The GMC Yukon 4WD 4-Door Sport Utility is a mirror
image of all the performance, safety, and luxury features
of the previous model. In addition to the incredible
array of standard features in the base model vehicle,
the Yukon 4WD 4-Door Sport Utility is equipped with
four-wheel on-demand drive for those who truly do take
their vehicles through demanding terrain. Or over the
pile of snow at the end of your driveway...
Base list price: $35,328
Featuring an increase in performance standards, the
GMC Yukon Denali AWD 4-Door Sport Utility packs an eight-cylinder
engine with a remarkable 320 horsepower and four-wheel
full-time drive. The seating capacity is eight passengers,
and the EPA cargo volume rises from 16.3 cubic feet
in the previous models to 104.6 cubic feet. The side
impact air bags and rear wiper have been bypassed, and
limited slip differential has been added as a standard.
The Yukon Denali AWD is graced with comfortable leather
seating, and is equipped with all the other standards
and options listed previously.
Base list price: $46,150
The GMC Yukon XL Denali AWD 4-Door Sport Utility finishes
up the line up, matching the base Denali model but the
overall length features an increase from 198.9 inches
to 219.3 inches, bringing the EPA cargo volume to 131.6
cubic feet.
