2001 Mitsubishi Mirage Coupe takes to the streets this year
with two impressive models, the Mirage DE Coupe and the Mirage
LS Coupe. Good looks and economy are just some of the reasons
this vehicle has been enjoying popularity, as well as high
quality Japanese assembly. Both models have two doors, and
have a seating capacity of five passengers.
Under the hood,
the Mitsubishi Mirage Coupe features a four-cylinder engine
with SOHC combining to produce 92 horsepower in the DE Coupe
model and 113 horsepower in the LS Coupe model. Standard transmission
is five-speed manual, with optional automatic transmission.
Drive type is two-wheel front, rolling down the streets on
all-season SBR tires. Fuel consumption is attractive at 33/40
(city/hwy) for the DE Coupe and 38/36 for the LS Coupe.
Mitsubishi covers
the bases with its safety features. Standards include a driver
side air bag, passenger side air bag, and front head restraints.
In the Mirage LS Coupe model, front fog lights are available
as a package to pierce through murky nights and early morning
haze on the way to work.
Luxuries are numerous
