V40 Wagon, offered this year in two models, the V40 Wagon
and the V40 Sport Edition Wagon. Each four-door vehicle has
a seating capacity of five passengers, with plenty of room
in the back for luggage, equipment, or pets and a rear door
to get to all of them easily. Considering all the performance,
safety, luxury, and Volvo’s solid reputation, the price
tag is very reasonable.
Under the hood, the Volvo V40 Wagon sports a four-cylinder
engine, which uses turbo gas, and a DOHC combining to produce
an impressive 160 horsepower - great for city and highway
driving alike. Standard transmission is five-speed automatic,
responding quickly to its driver’s demands. Drive type
is two-wheel front, rolling down the streets and highways
on all-season touring tires.
True to Volvo tradition, safety is a priority with features
such as ABS brakes on each vehicle, traction control available
as a package, and front fog lights standard on the Volvo V40
Sport Edition Wagon.
Other standards include a driver depowered air bag, passenger
depowered air bag, side impact air bags, and both front and
rear head restraints on all vehicles. For the protection of
youngsters, child safety locks have been installed on each
model, and integrated child seats are available as an option
on the Volvo V40 Wagon.
Luxuries are generous, and include air conditioning, cruise’speed
control, a handy keyless entry system, and a theft deterrent
system for peace of mind while away from the vehicle. Other
