2002 Audi A4 1.8T Avant Wagon:

With some seriously redesigned features for 2002, the new Audi A4 1.8T Wagon takes to the streets and highways in an incredibly intelligent package and a glamorous design inside and out. Five passengers are easily accommodated within its spacious and versatile interior, and will be treated to a quiet and peaceful ride.

Directing our attention to performance first, the Audi A4 1.8 T Wagon is graced with a turbo-charged 1.8-litre, four-cylinder engine with DOHC, five valves per cylinder, and direct ignition. These features combine to produce an impressive 170 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. What makes the performance of the Audi A4 1.8T Avant Wagon really stand out is the permanent all-wheel drive with differential locks for exceptional control is rough weather and demanding terrain.

Each Audi A4 1.8T Avant Wagon is equipped with five-speed manual transmission, and offers a five-speed Tiptronic transmission for those who prefer it. Finishing off the list of performance features, every vehicle comes with fifteen-inch cast alloy wheels and all-season SBR tires.

Turning next to comfort and convenience, the Audi A4 1.8T Avant Wagon is blessed with automatic temperature control, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, steering wheel-mounted cruise control, and a theft deterrent system. The benefits continue with heated dual power outside mirrors, power door locks, and power windows.

The basic package also features luxuries such as a retractable luggage cover, 60/40 split folding rear seat, leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, and leather-wrapped gearshift knob and brake lever. The standard upholstery is a choice of cloth or leatherette, and fine leather seating is available as an option.

When it comes to safety, the Audi A4 1.8T Avant Wagon is armed to the teeth with ABS brakes, front fog lights, driver and passenger depowered air bags, side head protection air bags, and front chest air bags. Other standard safety features include front head restraints and three rear head restraints, rear child safety locks, and child safety seat tethers and anchors.

To keep the headlights and windshield clear in cold weather, the Audi A4 1.8T Avant Wagon is equipped with heated windshield washer fluid nozzles and high-pressure retractable headlight washers. Each vehicle also contains both a tool kit and a first aid kit as helpful implements.

The Cold Weather Package adds heated front seats and a heated driver’s side door locks, while the Premium Package features a sunroof, HomeLink transmitter, and auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors. The third choice, the A4 Sport Package, has a finely calibrated sport suspension and sixteen-inch alloy wheels and high performance tires.
