2002 Audi A8:

One of Audi’s most distinguished sedans is the new 2002 A8 Sedan, with four doors and ample room for five passengers in an exquisite interior. Known for outstanding performance and superior design, the 2002 Audi A8 Sedan does not disappoint. Only its extensive luxury and safety features equal its grace and speed.

The interior is absolutely stunning, with standards such as automatic dual zone temperature control, polished wood inlays, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather hand brake lever and gearshift knob, and glorious leather upholstery throughout. The driver and front passenger seats are 14-way power adjustable with 4-way lumbar support, power headrests, and four-way memory.

Among the Audi A8 Sedan’s conveniences are a Homelink transmitter, power adjustable steering column, cruise control, and a remote power trunk release button on driver’s door. The windows, heated door locks, and heated dual outside mirrors are all power-operated.

Other amenities include a premium AM/FM stereo with CD player, six-CD disc changer in the trunk, and premium sound system with subwoofer. A cargo net is also located in the trunk, and the vehicle is armed with a theft deterrent system.

The Audi A8 Sedan is equipped with a remarkable all-aluminum eight-cylinder engine with DOHC, forty valves, and an earth-rocking 310 horsepower and 302 lbs-ft of torque. Talk about stellar performance in a luxury vehicle! It bolts from 0-60 mph in just 6.7 seconds.

The quattro full-time all-wheel drive makes handling a breeze, even when faced with challenging terrain and elements such as snow and mud. Each vehicle is equipped with sixteen-inch cast alloy wheels and all-season tires; seventeen-inch forged and polished alloy wheels are optional. Standard transmission is five-speed Tiptronic automatic.

Turning now to the all-important issue of safety, the Audi A8 Sedan features three-point seatbelts and headrests at every seating position, first aid kit, child safety locks, and child seat anchors and tethers. Other key standards include front fog lights in the front and rear, and ABS brakes for added control in emergency situations.

Passengers are guarded by a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, side impact air bags in the front, and side head protections air bags. Rear side impact air bags are available as an option.

Optional packages for the Audi A8 Sedan include a Premium Comfort Package and Warm Weather Package. Other options listed are a navigation system, special leather upholstery, a cell phone, and acoustic parking assistance.
