2002 BMW 330 Ci Convertible Overview

For those of you with a zest for life, try cruising around the streets and highways with the top down - in a BMW 330 Ci Convertible, that is. With a distinctively classy feel and plenty of luxuries and features, the new 2002 BMW 330 Ci Convertible is a perfect choice.

Although only one models is available, there are three packages that are offered in addition to the impressive base model: the Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, and Sport Package. Each one gives you the opportunity to select the vehicle that is most appropriate to your lifestyle and driving needs.

Starting off with safety first, the BMW 330 Ci Convertible is stacked with front and rear anti-roll bars, dynamic stability control with all-season traction, and ABS brakes. The rollover protection system is backed by side impact air bags, driver depowered air bag, and passenger depowered air bag.

Halogen front fog lights show the way in the midst of inclement weather, and an impact sensor automatically deploys the hazard lights and unlocks all of the doors for a quick exit.

The BMW 330 Ci Convertible is equipped with a fun-filled five-speed manual transmission. Automatic transmission is available as an option. Under the hood is an exquisite 3.0-litre six-cylinder DOHC 24-valve engine that hits the mark at 225 horsepower.

With sport suspension calibration, seventeen-inch double-spoke alloy wheels and all-season tires, the BMW 330 Ci Convertible is a display of control and precise handling on both city streets and open roads.

Moving along to luxuries, the BMW 330 Ci Convertible is bestowed with an upscale audio system with eleven speakers. An in-dash CD player is optional. The front seats are eight-way power adjustable, with twelve-way front sport seats and even heated seats available as packages.

The interior is accented with leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with cruise, accessory phone, and audio controls mounted right on it so you can keep your eyes on the road. The power-retractable convertible soft-top is fully lined.

Other standards include a keyless entry system, cruise control, remote garage door opener, power windows, power door locks, and power mirrors. The passenger side mirror even tilts down automatically when you put the car into reverse for better visibility as you back up.
