2002 BMW Z3 3.0i Overview

The uniquely stylish yet aggressive-looking new 2002 BMW Z3 3.0i Roadster not only handles and performs like a top-notch performance vehicle, it is packed with endless comforts and conveniences. Pull the top down, and you’ll enter a whole new world of driving enjoyment.

BMW equips each of the Z3 3.0i Roadster vehicles with ABS brakes, halogen front fog lights, rollover bars, limited slip differential, and traction control. Further safety standards include a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, and side impact air bags.

Taking a look under the hood, the BMW Z3 3.0i Roadster boasts a 3.0-litre, variable-timing DOHC, 24-valve, six-cylinder engine with an impressive 225 horsepower. Standard transmission is five-speed manual, with five-speed automatic “Steptronic” transmission available to you as an option.

Some of the other specifications listed are front and rear anti-rolls bars, gas-pressurized strut-type front suspension and semi-trailing arm rear suspension, and dynamic stability control. As well, the BMW Z3 3.0i Roadster is equipped with seventeen-inch alloys wheels with performance SBR tires.

Luxuries are plentiful in the new 2002 BMW Z3 3.0i Roadster, starting with a fully lined soft top, exquisite leather seating, keyless entry system, power windows, power door locks, and dual power mirrors. A power retractable soft top is available as an option as well.

The list continues with air conditioning, premium anti-theft AM/FM stereo with CD player and ten speakers, cruise control, and leatherette seating. Other luxurious standards include four-way adjustable power seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and detailing, and a variety of other items to increase comfort.

Heated leather seats, heated outside mirrors, and heated windshield washer jets come in a package for the comfort and convenience of those living in colder climes.

The Premium Package adds wood trim, and a power soft top to the base model, while the Sport Package adds seventeen-inch alloy wheels and sport seats.
