Three models are available, Trailblazer LS, Trailblazer LT, and Trailblazer LTZ. Each four-door vehicle seats five passengers with plenty of elbowroom to spare.

Under the hood rumbles a powerful six-cylinder engine with DOHC combining to produce an impressive 270 horsepower - perfect for highway driving, hauling loads, or cutting through rough back roads. Transmission is a responsive four-speed automatic, while the drive type is two-wheel front.

Standard safety features include driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, side impact air bags, and both front and rear head restraints. Each model has been equipped with ABS brakes for extra control while braking suddenly or while stopping on slippery terrain. The rear wiper keeps the back window clear for optimum visibility. For the safety of youngsters, child safety locks have been installed on every vehicle.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer LS introduces the line up and features all the performance and safety points outlined above. Luxuries include air conditioning, power door locks, power windows, and AM/FM stereo with CD player. The rear seat conveniently folds down to make extra space for luggage and equipment, and a theft deterrent system lends you peace of mind while away from the vehicle. Tires are all-season SBR.
Base list price: $25,155

Next in line is the Trailblazer LT, featuring the addition of front fog lights to the safety package. Also included with this model are cruise/speed control, a handy keyless entry system, and dual power mirrors.
Base list price: $25,806

The Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ finishes off the Ford Trailblazer sport utility round-up with an upgrade to on-off road radial tires for attacking even the toughest terrain. This model is equipped with all the safety, performance, and luxury amenities outlined in the models above and finishes off the package with the luxury of soft leather seating.
