2002 Honda Accord Coupe

For more than two decades, the Honda Accord has been one of the primary leaders in providing high-quality, reliable family vehicles on the market - with a focus towards accommodating drivers and passengers alike with as many comforts and conveniences as possible for your dollar. And with its added sporty design, the sleek new 2002 Honda Accord Coupe maintains the traditional contemporary Honda appeal.

Since every driver has specific requirements and preferences, Honda offers up five different models - The 2002 Accord LX Coupe, Accord Special Edition Coupe, Accord EX Coupe, Accord LX V6 Coupe, and the 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 Coupe. Each builds upon the well-appointed base model.

Running quietly under the hood of the 2002 Honda Accord LX Coupe is a 2.3-litre, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine with a healthy output of 150 horsepower and 152 lbs-ft of torque. Standard specifications include five-speed manual transmission, four-wheel double wishbone/multi-link suspension, variable-assist power rack-and-pinion steering, and fifteen-inch wheels with full covers. The fuel economy rating is 26/32 mpg (city/hwy).

Every 2002 Honda Accord LX Coupe is graced with power windows, power door locks, cruise control, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with CD player and six speakers, and dual power outside mirrors. The rear seatback splits 60/40 and folds down to accommodate extra cargo and is lockable.

And with safety in mind, the 2002 Honda Accord LX Coupe is bolstered with an interior trunk release handle, three-point seatbelts at all seating positions, immobilizer theft deterrent system, driver air bag, and passenger air bag. The rear seating area is equipped with child safety seat tethers and anchors.

The Honda Accord Special Edition Coupe continues to build on this package, and includes four-speed automatic transmission, fifteen-inch alloy wheels, painted silver interior accents, cassette and CD player, floor mats, electronic remote trunk release, and a power moonroof with tilt feature.

Moving up another level, the Honda Accord EX Coupe sports ABS brakes, dual side impact air bags, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, and six-disc in-dash CD changer.

Taking the original LX package further, the Accord LX V6 turns up the volume on performance, boasting a 3.0-litre, 24-valve, six-cylinder engine that produces an impressive 200 horsepower and 195 lbs-ft of torque. This model is equipped with four-speed automatic transmission, traction control, and ABS brakes.

Combining all the desirable traits of the previous models, the powerful and luxurious Honda Accord EX V6 adds sixteen-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, leather door inserts and trim, automatic air conditioning, and a sound system comprised of casette, six-disc CD changer, and six speakers. This model is also matched with a HomeLink Remote System, trunk cargo net, and a power moonroof.
