The sporty and functional 2002 Honda Civic Coupe echoes
the practical, economical, and user-friendliness of
its popular four-door cousin, the 2002 Honda Civic Sedan.
Featuring a versatile rear hatch and plenty of cargo
volume, the Civic Coupe also headlines a wide variety
of standard and optional comforts and conveniences,
and four different models offering several performance
configurations. So whether youve just retired,
just graduated, or just married, the Honda Civic Coupe
has something for everyone!
The base model 2002 Honda Civic DX Coupe motors along
to the tune of an aluminum-alloy, SOHC, sixteen-valve,
four-cylinder engine with direct ignition system and
multi-point fuel injection system that combines to produce
115 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. With the environment
in mind, the Civic DX is listed an ultra-low emissions
vehicle. And for those with an eye towards economy,
this two-door coupe has a fuel consumption rating of
33/39 mpg (city/hwy) for the standard five-speed manual
transmission, and 30/38 mpg (city/hwy) for the optional
four-speed automatic transmission.
In the safety department, the reliable 2002 Honda Civic
DX Coupe provides the peace of mind that comes with
standard measures such as crumple zones, side impact
door beams, driver and front passenger air bags, and
three-point seat belts at each seating position.
An engine immobilizer allows you to relax with the

system with a resulting fuel economy rating of 36/44
mpg (city/hwy) for the manual transmission models and
35/40 for the automatic.
Key additions to the base package include an AM/FM
stereo with cassette player, power door locks, passenger
seat walk-in feature, fourteen-inch lightweight alloy
wheels, and dual power outside mirrors. A remote keyless
entry system is offered to you as an accessory.
Equipped with the same engine configuration as the
base model, the Honda LX Coupe builds on the previous
models and comes with standard air conditioning with
air filtration system, illuminated drivers switch,
cruise control, front beverage holder with lid, and
passenger seat walk-in feature with memory. Exterior
highlights include body-colored trunk lid garnish, and
body-colored door handles.
Crowning the 2002 Honda Civic Coupe line up is the
EX model, the most powerful capabilities. Civic EX sports
a SOHC, sixteen-valve, aluminum-alloy four-cylinder
VTEC engine that produces 127 horsepower and 114 lb-ft
of torque.
Rolling the many features and benefits of the previous
models into one outstanding package, the Civic EX Coupe
adds fifteen-inch wheels with full covers, and an AM/FM
stereo with CD player and six speakers. Also included
as basics are an illuminated ignition switch, drivers
seat with manual height adjustment, a standard cargo
net, and a remote keyless entry system.
