2002 Honda Odyssey

The Honda Odyssey Passenger Van has been the recipient of numerous awards and top-of-class honors for its spacious design, excellent performance and handling, superior safety, and environmental consciousness. The 2002 line up does not disappoint in any way, offering up two models - the 2002 Honda Odyssey LX Passenger Van and the 2002 Honda Odyssey EX Passenger Van.

Beginning with the Honda Odyssey LX Passenger Van, the seating capacity is seven passengers with four-door entry and rear lift gate. Air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with cassette player and four speakers, cruise control, power door locks, and heated power mirrors are just some of the many features.

Other standards include power windows, power flip-out vent windows, dual sliding doors, first and second row captains chairs, and a retractable third row bench seat. The drivers seat is six-way adjustable, and there are plenty of storage consoles, map pockets, cup holders and helpful features throughout.

There are three-point seatbelts at every seating position, ABS brakes, child safety seat anchors on the rear seats, child safety locks, driver and front passenger air bags, and immobilizer system. As well, other safety standards listed in the Honda Odyssey LX Passenger Van include traction control, mud and snow SBR tires to grip the road, and third row head restraints.

The second model, the Honda Odyssey EX Passenger Van, also has seating for seven passengers and adds to the package front auto and rear manual air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player and six speakers. Aesthetic details abound as well.

Further conveniences and luxuries listed are a personal light with delay, steering wheel mounted audio controls, headlight auto off, a roof rail, and keyless remote entry. A security system comes standard, as does an 8-way power driver seat, handy cargo net, and additional seatback storage pockets.

Considering how incredibly packed the base model is already, the Honda Odyssey EX Passenger Van with all its many features that go above and beyond is a superior value and quite simply an excellent buy.
