2002 Lincoln Town Car:

The luxurious Lincoln Town Car has been a classic statement in quiet elegance and status for many years, and the new 2002 line up of sedans is no exception to the sophisticated reputation the vehicle has earned.

To enable you to choose the vehicle that best suits your personality, driving needs, and soft spot for luxury, four models are available - Town Car Executive, Town Car Signature, Town Car Cartier, and Town Car Cartier L. Each four-door sedan has loads of room for six passengers.

The 2002 Lincoln Town Car Executive Sedan features a generous list of comforts and conveniences that includes leather upholstery and details, power windows, power door locks, and dual power outside mirrors. Air conditioning, cruise control, a handy keyless entry system, and a theft deterrent system are just some examples of the many beneficial features that come as standard items.

Safety features are thorough and include a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, side impact air bags, and front head restraints. Other basic safety measures are traction control for steady driving and hold on the road, and child safety locks in the rear of the vehicle.

In the performance department, the Lincoln Town Car Executive Sedan packs a serious 4.6-litre 220 horsepower and 265 lbs-ft of torque, which derive from an eight-cylinder, SOHC powerhouse. The standard transmission is four-speed automatic, and the interior remains peaceful and smooth even at full throttle.

The Town Car Executive has front wheel drive, and the fuel consumption rating hovers around 17/24 (city/hwy). Rolling along the roads are a set of all-season SBR tires.
