The new four-door 2002
Mazda Millenia Sedan is a full-size luxury sedan with
two models to choose from - Millenia Premium Sedan and
Millenia S Sedan. The main difference is performance,
but both come equipped with an array of safety and luxury
features to keep you satisfied.
Beginning with the Mazda
Millenia Premium Sedan, the performance specifications
include a six-cylinder DOHC 24-valve engine that combines
to produce 170 horsepower and 160 lb-ft of torque.
Acceleration is excellent
with the V6 engine, and response to full-throttle is
relatively quick without too much noise or vibration.
Fuel economy is 20/27 (city/hwy). Each Mazda Millenia
Premium Sedan is equipped with sixteen-inch alloy wheels
and is front wheel drive.
In the safety category,
the Mazda Millenia Premium Sedan is armed with child
safety locks, ABS brakes, illuminated entry with fadeout
delay, and both front and rear head restraints. Furthermore,
Mazda includes a driver side air bag, passenger side
air bag, three-point seatbelts and two-point center
rear belt. Traction control is available in a package.
Comforts and conveniences
for its five passengers include an eight-way adjustable
driver’s seat and passenger’s seat, and steering
wheel mounted cruise control. Other standards are air
conditioning, power door locks, power windows, and dual
power mirrors. The upholstery is leather, and both the
gearshift knob and steering wheel are wrapped in leather,
too.
A power moonroof lets
the light in, and the tilt-up feature allows for ventilation.
With wood grain trim, and plenty of storage console
and cup holders, the Mazda Millenia’s stylish and

Millenia S Sedan, which features a twist in perfromance
specifications. The new engine is a 2.3-litre DOHC 24-valve
Miller-cycle V6 with Lysholm compressor and dual intercoolers.
What does this mean? First of all, an efficient engine.
Second of all, we see a jump to 210 horsepower and 210
lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy rating for this model
is 20/28 (city/hwy).
Other improvements on
the Mazda Millenia S Sedan include seventeen-inch alloy
wheels, and a premium AM/FM stereo with CD player with
nine speakers, with separate subwoofer and tweeters.
