The new 2002 Mazda Tribute Sport Utility gives us the best of many worlds this year - no fewer than eight 2002 models are offered. This gives you a lot of choice when it comes to features and options, and combined with Mazda’s fine technology allows it to equal and surpass many of its competitors.

Below is an overview of the 2002 Mazda Tribute DX Sport Utility, Tribute DX 4WD Sport Utility, Tribute DX V6 Sport Utility, Tribute DX V6 Sport Utility, Tribute LX V6 4WD Sport Utility, Tribute ES V6 Sport Utility, Tribute LX V6 4WD Sport Utility, and Tribute ES V6 4WD Sport Utility.

Beginning with the Mazda Tribute DX Sport Utility, we see a seating capacity of five passengers, four-door entry, and a full range of luxuries such as air conditioning, power door locks, dual power mirrors, and power windows. Even more standards follow, including folding rear seat, theft deterrent system, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player.

Performance specifications for the front wheel drive Tribute DX Sport Utility outline a four-cylinder DOHC engine with 135 lbs-ft of torque and 130 horsepower. Standard transmission is five-speed manual, and you can choose automatic transmission as an option. Fuel economy s 23/28 (city/hwy) and tires are all-season SBR.

Safety measures listed include a passenger depowered air bag, driver depowered air bag, and both front and rear head restraints. The benefit of front fog lights is available to you as a dealer-installed option.
