2002 Oldsmobile Alero Sedan:
With a refreshing new take on the
traditional style of Oldsmobiles of past, the 2002 Oldsmobile
Alero Sedan sails in with a modern sporty appearnce
coupled with distinct sophistication. Choose from a
variety of standards and options offered by the new
line up this year.
Up for grabs in 2002 are the four-door
Alero GX Sedan, Alero GL Sedan, and Alero GLS Sedan,
designed to accommodate five passengers in the well-appointed
cabin.
The Alero GX Sedan begins with a
four-cylinder, DOHC engine with sequential port fuel
injection system, 140 horsepower and 150 lbs-ft of torque.
The Alero GX Sedan is built with front wheel drive,
four-speed automatic transmission, and all-season SBR
tires to grip the road.
Quite a broad range of amenities
is featured from an AM/FM stereo with CD player to air
conditioning, a handy keyless entry system, and cruise
control for a relaxed journey. Further standards include
power door locks, a theft deterrent system, and a folding
rear seat to create more cargo space. A moonroof/sunroof
is available as a package.
The Oldsmobile Alero GX Sedan is
bolstered with safety features such as traction control,
ABS brakes for sudden braking situations, and front
fog lights. Passengers are also protected with a driver
depowered air bag and a passenger depowered air bag
up front.

model, the Oldsmobile Alero GL Sedan adds front fog

Rounding off the 2002 models, the
Oldmobile Alero GLS Sedan heats things up with an upgrade
to six cylinders, center of vee camshaft, 170 horsepower,

The Alero GLS Sedan is beefed up
with touring radials, and adds a touch of class with
leather seating.
