2002 Oldsmobile Bravada:
Oldsmobile enters the sport utility
vehicle race this year with two powerful yet elegant
models that are true to their traditional sophisticated
roots but features modern looks and performance. Each
of the 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada Sport Utility and Oldsmobile
AWD Sport Utility have ample room for five passengers,
with four doors and a convenient rear gate.
Taking a look at the base model
Bravada Sport Utility first, we find it is equipped
with all-season SBR tires, front wheel drive, and a
responsive four-speed automatic transmission. These
specifications are paired with a six-cylinder, dual
overhead camshaft, sequential port fuel-injected engine
that spits out 270 horsepower and 275 lbs-ft of torque.
With the knowledge that safety is
just about as important to most people as performance
or luxuries, the Oldsmobile Bravada sport Utility has
been armed with front foglights, ABS brakes, and traction
control as examples of a few standards. Other basics
include side impact air bags, front and rear head restraints,
child safety locks, a pasenger depowered air bag, and
a driver depowered air bag.
As for comforts and conveniences,
the Bravada Sport Utility is graced with fine leather
seating, air conditioning, cruise control, limited slip
differential, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player.
The list continues with a handy
keyless entry system, folding rear seat for increased
cargo space, and a theft deterrent system. Power windows,
power door locks, and dual power outside mirrors are
all part of the package as well. A moonroof/sunroof
is available as an option.

The Oldsmobile Bravada AWD Sport
Utility takes what is already an amazing bundle of features
and beefs up performance even further with the addition
of four-wheel full-time drive for optimum control over
the road. Altogether, both models are exceptional and
the all-wheel drive feature of this model really puts
it over the top against many of its toughest competitors.
