2002 Subaru Impreza:

The new 2002 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon line up features the performance of a sport utility vehicle with the practicality and driveability of a car. Two models are available for the upcoming year, each with plenty of room for five passengers and four-door entry - Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS Sport Wagon and Subaru Impreza WRX Sport Wagon. Both are priced for excellent value.

Starting off with the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS Sport Wagon, luxuries and conveniences range from an AM/FM stereo with CD player to cruise control, a moonroof/sunroof, and the comforts of air conditioning. The rear hatch makes for quick and easy loading and unloading of gear and luggage.

Other highlights include dual power outside mirrors, power windows, power door locks, and a variety of other practical items that simplify your driving experience. Some of the options available to you include a keyless entry system and a theft deterrent system for peace of mind.

Safety standards cover key areas such as child safety locks, front and rear head restraints, and ABS brakes for control in unexpected situations. A rear wiper and rear defroster keep the back window clear for optimum visibility.

Front passengers in the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS Sport Wagon are protected further with a driver depowered air bag and a passenger depowered air bag. Front fog lights are available as an option.

The Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS Sport Wagon displays an impressive four-cylinder SOHC engine with 165 horsepower and 166 lbs-ft of torque. It is equipped with all-season SBR tires, and has standard five-speed manual transmission. Automatic transmission is offered to you as an option as well.

One of the most prominent features of the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS Sport Wagon is the four-wheel full-time drive, which is most certainly useful when you encounter mud, snow, and challenging terrain.
