2002 Subaru Legacy

The unique new 2002 Subaru Legacy combines the feel and convenience of a car with the performance of a sport utility vehicle. Three models are available for 2002: the Subaru Legacy L Sedan, Legacy GT Sedan, and the 2002 Subaru Legacy GT Limited. Each has four doors and seats five.

The first model, the Subaru Legacy L Sedan is equipped with ABS brakes, driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, child safety locks, and front and rear head restraints. Front fog lights are optional.

As for performance, the Subaru Legacy L Sedan features a four-cylinder engine with SOHC, sequential port fuel injections system, 166 lbs-ft of torque, and 165 horsepower. The fuel economy rating is approximately 21/27 (city/hwy). Overall, it provides a smooth and responsive ride with little engine vibration felt inside the vehicle.

Standard transmission is five-speed manual, and for those of you who prefer automatic, it is available as an option. One of the standout features of the Legacy L Sedan is the four-wheel full-time drive for aggressively handling tough weather and terrain.

The Subaru Legacy L Sedan boasts standards like cruise control, air conditioning, power door locks, dual power mirrors, and power windows. Options are listed as a theft deterrent system, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, and a keyless entry system.
