2003 Buick LeSabre Custom, Limited and Celebration
Editions
The best-selling full-size, four-door sedan in America,
the 2003 Buick LeSabre is available this year in a Celebration
Edition in commemoration of Buick's 100-year anniversary.
10,000 of these models will be made and will distinguish
themselves with stylish features, including black cherry
trim and two-tone leather upholstery.
However, whether you interest is in the 2003 Buick
LeSabre Custom, Limited or Celebration Edition, this
is the archetypal family car for the family that likes
to travel in comfort: a smooth ride but also enough
power under the hood to satisfy the driver who wants
it. Those who do a lot of miles for business or pleasure
will be happy with this car to get them from A to B
to C and back again without feeling like they have gone
through the wringer.
Under the Hood
The 2003 Buick LeSabre has plenty of oomph in the 3.8-liter
V6: 205 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 230 ft-lbs of torque
at 4000 rpm. Four-wheel antilock brakes and a four-speed
are standard and a large assortment of different options
is available, enabling the consumer to tailor the LeSabre
capabilities closely to their needs.
The Limited Edition has OnStar assistance, traction
control and GM's Stabilitrak antiskid system, all optional
on the Custom, while the Gran Touring package includes
16-inch wheels instead of the standard 15-inch and firmer
suspension complete with rear stabilizer bar for more
aggressive handling on turns at speed.
Standard Features, Options Packages and Style
The 2003 Buick LeSabre is one car where consumer choice
can go wild, with a large variety of options packages.
These include, Best Seller, Luxury, Comfort and Style,
Gran Touring, Celebration Edition, Five-passenger seating
and, Memory packages. All of these have a different
collection of luxurious items to enhance the LeSabre
experience for driver and passengers.
The interior options include front bucket seats, leather
upholstery, XM satellite radio, head up instrument display,
driver information center displaying internal and external
temperature, trip computer, memory mirrors and 8-way
power driver seat. Also the front seats are both heated
for cold weather days. Exterior options include sexy
chrome alloy wheel covers and side mirror indicator
lights.
These are just a selection of the more luxurious options.
Naturally, this General Motors car has a full collection
of more common standard features and optional add-ons.
Most of the Limited Edition standards are available
as options on the Custom model while the Celebration
adds those few stylistic touches to the Limited Edition
to set it apart from the rest.
