2003 Buick Regal reviews and buying guide.

2003 Buick Regal resources:

2003 Buick Regal

The 2003 Buick Regal is a sporty midsize car that sprinkles a touch of luxury on top of a solid, performance-driven base. The Regal features an abundance of power when needed, an improved construction for safety, smooth handling to tame the road and plenty of comfort to relax in. In other words, the Regal covers all the points on the checklist of a dependable family vehicle.

The 2003 Buick Regal is presented in a base LS model and a loaded GS model. Particularly impressive is the supercharged engine found in the GS model. For style, the Regal offers a special color and trim design crafted by the hand of renowned fashion designer Joseph Abboud. This elegant version of the Regal is perhaps the most kingly of any.

Under the Hood

The LS model is equipped with a strong 3.8-liter Series II V6 engine with 200 horsepower. The GS powers forth with a supercharged version of the Series II V6. Capable of 240 horsepower, the GS puts Regal among the horsepower leaders in its class. While the LS comes with dual front airbags and 4-wheel disc brakes, the GS has traction control, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, and Gran Touring Suspension.

For added security, the 2003 Buick Regal has been given a new interior trim on the pillars and roof rails. Backed with energy-absorbing foam for additional head-impact protection that exceeds new federal requirements, this new feature highlights Buick's commitment to safety.

Standard Features, Options Packages and Style

Style and standard comfort features are found everywhere with the 2003 Regal. The LS has all the basics covered, while the GS has such added standards as leather upholstery, steering wheel radio controls and trip computer. The special Joseph Abboud model touches up the Regal with unique club-style front bucket seats with Rich Chestnut leather seating areas and a leather-wrapped two-tone steering wheel. The Abboud signature emblem adorns the instrument panel, carpet savers, headrest and taillamps.

In addition to the Abboud package, there are many other options that can be added to the standard equipment of the 2003 Buick Regal. From luxury to leather, the right package is waiting and ready.

It would be foolish to give a vehicle a kingly title if it didn't live up to its name. Fortunately, the manufacturers at Buick are not foolish people.
