2003 Cadillac Deville
The Deville is Cadillac's largest car, loaded with
all the luxury items you would expect from its prestigious
manufacturer. The Deville has plenty of power to easily
get up to speed and a superior construction that makes
the ride both safe and smooth no matter what the conditions
are. The exterior is just as sleek and elegant as the
interior, while underneath it all precision engineering
ensures a long life is in store for this top-rated full-size
luxury car.
The 2003 Deville is offered in three models: base,
DHS and DTS. For comfort, there aren't many vehicles
that provide as many features as the Cadillac, and the
Deville is no exception. Boasting the OnStar system,
leather upholstery and more standard attributes across
all models, the term luxury certainly isn't misplaced
when describing the 2003 Deville. As if that isn't enough,
there are many options to add, including Night Vision
technology and XM Satellite Radio.
Under the Hood
Both the base model and DHS model come with a 4.6-liter
Northstar V8 engine with 275 horsepower. The DTS has
even more juice with a beefed-up 4.6-liter Northstar
V8 boasting 300 horsepower. With the advanced Northstar
engines in place, the Deville is given an impressive
amount of strength with which to operate.
Dual front and side airbags are standard across all
models, as are antilock 4-wheel disc brakes and traction
control. DTS adds even greater handling with an antiskid
system and StabiliTrak for improved suspension.
Standard Features, Options Packages and Style
Being a luxury car, it isn't surprising to find that
the 2003 Deville is loaded with all sorts of features.
For style, the Deville is crafted with a clean, flowing
form. In terms of comfort, the list is long and impressive.
The OnStar System, air conditioning with tri-zone automatic
climate control, tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel
with climate and radio controls and leather upholstery
are just some of the standard goodies on board. DHS
and DTS models naturally throw even more features on
top of the pile.
For options, the 2003 Deville offers such packages
as Night Vision, XM Satellite Radio, rear side airbags
(base and DHS) and more. Night Vision uses thermal-imaging
technology to assist drivers in seeing objects beyond
headlight range during nighttime driving. As a compliment
to Nigh Vision, Ultra Sonic Rear Parking Assist is also
available, which assists drivers in rear parking maneuvers.
For luxury, performance and a wide variety of available
options, the 2003 Cadillac Deville does it all.
