2003 Cadillac Seville
Part of Cadillac's two-pronged front-wheel-drive sedan
attack, the Seville is given a sportier touch than its
cousin Deville. What they have in common is all the
comfort and performance that comes with the Cadillac
nameplate. Offered with a myriad of technological innovations
and artfully crafted in the Cadillac tradition, the
2003 Seville is at the forefront of its class.
Spaciousness abounds with the 2003 Seville. With more
than three feet of leg room in both the front and back,
five passengers will find themselves comfortably seated
within its lush leather interior. Two impressive engines
power the SLS and STS models of the 2003 Seville, while
advanced handling and suspension systems further add
to the ease with which the sedan drives. For 2003, Magnetic
Ride Control and a host of other standard and optional
features prove that the Seville has customer satisfaction
in mind.
Under the Hood
When a vehicle is given luxury status, it does not
simply mean it will come loaded with comfort features
and gadgets. Luxury cars must also perform to the highest
standard, and with its Northstar engines, the 2003 Seville
accomplishes this. The SLS (Sedan Luxury Seville) is
equipped with a 4.6-liter, 279-cu. inch Northstar V8
engine with 275 horsepower. Obviously there will be
no leaving the Seville in the dust. 4-speed automatic
transmission is assigned to take care of the shifting.
The SLS handles safety and performance with dual front
and side airbags, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, traction
control, an antiskid system, automatic level-control
suspension for smooth rides and a rear-obstacle detection
system for parking maneuvers.
The STS (Sedan Touring Seville) is given a little more
kick than its partner. Its 4.6-liter, 279-cu. inch Northstar
V8 engine boasts an added 300 horsepower. In addition,
the STS also comes with Magnetic Ride Control suspension,
a system that controls wheel and body motion using a
revolutionary damper design, resulting in greater handling
and a smoother, quieter ride.
Standard Features, Options Packages and Style
Without question, the 2003 Cadillac Seville is a luxury
car. One glance at the list of standard features, then
at its sleek exterior styling, and you're convinced.
Both SLS and STS come with roughly the same standard
package, in which there are many highlights to choose
from. AM/FM/cassette/CD player, the OnStar System, power
tilt/telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel with
radio and climate controls, cruise control and 10-way
power front seats with power lumbar adjustment and driver-seat
memory are just part of what you'll get. However, with
the STS slightly more standards are added.
Options are aplenty, with a navigation system with
DVD player and LCD screen particularly impressive. All
of this and more with the 2003 Cadillac Seville.
