2003 Chevy Venture (Extended Length)
The extended length version of the 2003 Chevy Venture
offers a number of upgrades on the regular length. With
a larger wheelbase and more seating and cargo space,
the extended length is able to handle the needs of the
largest families. Also available on all models is the
Versatrak AWD (all-wheel drive) system, which provides
added traction in any weather condition. Offering just
a bit more than the regular length Venture, the extended
length is prepared for anything you can throw at it.
Like the regular length, the extended length has a
number of different models to choose from. There are
four in total: Plus, LS, LT and a special Warner Bros
Edition. All models seat seven, with eight-passenger
seating standard on the Warner Bros model and optional
on the LS. The top-of-the-line Warner Bros Edition is
quite simply loaded with features, while the Plus is
no slouch either.
Under the Hood
The 2003 Chevy Venture (extended length) comes with
a 3.4-liter V6 engine providing 185 horsepower, with
4-speed automatic transmission. Even filled to the brim
with passengers, the Venture still gets up to speed
quickly for comfortable driving in the city or on the
highway. With a sturdy construction, a sharp handling
system, antilock brakes, and dual front and side airbags,
the manufacturers of the 2003 extended length Venture
have further equipped the minivan with all the tools
to safely avoid danger.
Standard Features, Options Packages and Style
As with the regular length, the most significant standard
feature that comes with the extended length version
of the 2003 Venture is the ample seating available.
As far as features go, owners can begin with the Plus
model to satisfy their comfort needs, or go all the
way up to the impressive Warner Bros Edition. This special
edition Venture offers an in-vehicle DVD-based entertainment
system which plays DVD video, DVD audio and CDs. Included
is a flat, flip-down, 7-inch video screen, four wireless
headphones and a wireless remote control. With the Warner
Bros Edition, there is no way the kids can complain
anymore.
For each model, there are countless individual upgrades
and convenience packages that can be added, addressing
convenience, security and entertainment needs. Also
available is Venture's Rear Parking Aid, which alerts
the driver of objects or people behind the vehicle with
both audio and visual signals while the van is in reverse.
Providing more space and a greater number of features
than the regular length, the extended length is perfect
for families who not only want a dependable minivan,
but an extremely comfortable one as well.
