2003 Chrysler Concorde reviews and buying guide.

2003 Chrysler Concorde resources:

2003 Chrysler Concorde

The Chrysler Concorde is a full-size sedan that packs a whole lot of features under an affordable price tag. You can also add diversity to the list of prime adjectives describing the Concorde, as each of the three models, LX, LXi and Limited, come equipped with separate engines. In effect then, there are three distinct vehicles that share the Concorde nameplate.

The Concorde combines agile handling, effective performance, distinctive appearance and premium features to distance it from the pack of full-size sedans. With enough room for six, the Concorde can also function as a dependable family vehicle.

Under the Hood

With three engines, the Concorde offers the most powertrain choice in its segment. An all-aluminum 2.7-liter V6 engine that delivers 200 horsepower powers LX models. The LXi is given 34 more horsepower with an all-aluminum 3.5-liter V6, resulting in a total of 234 horsepower. Finally, the Limited offers a high-output 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 250 horsepower. 4-speed automatic transmission is standard with all engines.

The 2.7-liter and 3.5-liter V6 engines feature direct coil-on-plug ignition systems and platinum-tipped spark plugs to provide 100,000-mile intervals between tune-ups. Safety and security features across all three models include dual front airbags, 4-wheel antilock brakes with low-speed traction control, three-point shoulder/lap belt for center rear passengers, internal emergency trunk release and the Lower Anchors and upper Tethers for Children (LATCH) restraint system.

Standard Features, Options Packages and Style

For 2003, three new exterior colors are available: Deep Lava Red, Brilliant Black Crystal and Deep Graphite. Up at the top of the Concorde line, the Limited model is filled with standard features, including leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls, leather upholstery, AM/FM/CD player, automatic climate control, trip computer, heated front seats, memory driver seat and mirrors, 8-way power passenger seat, heated power mirrors and an analog clock.

There are plenty of options that can be ordered individually or in packages. One such individual item is an AM/FM/cassette with in-dash 6-disc CD changer that includes an Infinity Sound System for ultimate listening pleasure. All of this and more with the 2003 Chrysler Concorde sedan.
