2003 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
Imagine yourself rushing down the highway on a warm
summer's day, the wind flowing through your hair as
the sun warms your face. Birds can be heard chirping
above the quiet hum of the engine, which accelerates
at the mere touch of the pedal. You take a tight corner
with a light turn of the steering wheel, power out of
the bend, and the horizon opens up before you
The above scenario has been brought to you by the 2003
Chrysler Sebring Convertible, a smooth-handling, two-door
midsize car that relishes the open road. If you like
the feel of the elements as you drive, the Sebring Convertible
is the car for you. If not, the Chrysler Sebring also
comes in a coupe and a sedan, both sharing the same
confident performance features of the convertible model.
Under the Hood
The 2003 Sebring Convertible is offered in four different
model trims, LX, LXi, GTC and Limited. The entry-level
LX model comes equipped with a 2.4-liter, 16-valve,
four-cylinder engine rated at 150 horsepower. Under
the hood of Sebring Convertible GTC, LXi and Limited
models is a 2.7-liter, 24-valve V6 engine that delivers
200 horsepower.
The GTC model is designed for younger buyers and offers
the type of features to satisfy this demographic. It
has European market sport suspension, firm-feel power
steering and a five-speed manual transaxle. The Sebring
Convertible GTC is also available with an automatic
four-speed transaxle. In terms of safety, all 2003 Chrysler
Sebring Convertibles have multi-stage front airbags,
repositioned higher head restraints, and the LATCH (Lower
Anchors and upper Tethers for Children) system and an
internal emergency trunk release.
Standard Features, Options Packages and Style
On the outside, the sporty GTC model continues its
fresh appeal with low-profile rear decklid spoiler,
16-inch painted aluminum wheels, color-keyed bodyside
molding and new GTC badging. On the inside, it offers
two-tone seats, unique instrument panel inserts to replace
the woodgrain, white-faced instrument cluster dials
and an AM/FM CD stereo with six speakers. Other models
run the gamut of standard features, from the LX all
the way up to the loaded Limited.
For 2003, there are plenty of options available both
individually and as part of larger packages. Everything
from performance, safety, comfort and style can be upgraded
with the addition of these items.
At an affordable price, the 2003 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
lets you experience the thrill of open-air driving.
