2003 Infiniti M45
The Infinity M45 is an all-new model unveiled for the
first time for 2003. The 2003 Infinity M45 is the latest
addition to the Infiniti lineup of performance-oriented
front-engine, rear-wheel drive sedans, positioned between
the Q45 and the new Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan. It boasts
340-horsepower strength, refined road manners, a thorough
safety package and an elegant style that flows through
both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
The M45 performance sport sedan comes standard with
class-leading V8 performance and a long list of world-class
amenities, with a price competitive with other competitors'
6-cylinder models. The four-door M45 also offers a spacious
interior that seats five passengers with ease. For its
introduction year, the M45 is offered in one loaded
model, sure to catch more than a few glances as it struts
down the street.
Under the Hood
There is no denying the M45's ability to accelerate
quickly and to continue generating power at higher speeds.
The engine responsible for this is a 4.5-liter, 32-valve
V8 with aluminum-alloy block and heads and molybdenum
coated pistons. Harnessing the speed of 340 horses,
it also delivers 333 lb-ft of torque. The M45 has an
electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission
that features a manual shift mode for those drivers
who like to control their car's speed by hand.
The 2003 Infiniti M45 glides over the road with 4-wheel
independent suspension, which is broken down into multi-link
rear suspension and strut with coil spring front suspension.
Rack-and-pinion speed-sensitive steering automatically
adjusts to provide the right amount of feel depending
on the M45's speed. For safety, the M45 has 4-wheel
antilock disc brakes, dual stage supplemental front
airbags and front seat side-impact and curtain side-impact
supplemental airbags.
Standard Features, Options Packages and Style
The M45 has a sleek form that features body-color side
molding, body-color mirrors with integral turn signals
and chrome door handles. Inside the M45 is a spacious
leather-upholstered cabin filled with comfort amenities.
The four-dial instrument cluster has an amber lighting
that silhouettes the gauges. Other standard features
include automatic dual-zone temperature control, an
illuminated entry/exit system, a leather-wrapped sport
steering wheel and a 225-watt Bose digital audio system
with 7 speakers, AM/FM stereo cassette and 6-disc CD
changer with audio steering wheel controls.
There are quite a few items that occupy the options
list. Climate controlled seats will warm you up or cool
you down, while a DVD-based navigation system makes
sure nobody gets lost.
Raring to go, the new Infiniti M45 is waiting to please.
