2010 Lincoln Town Car Highlights:

The Town Car from Lincoln is the only premium-large sedan which rear wheel drive. The car comes as a Signature Limited and a limousine wannabe Signature L which has a 6 inch longer wheelbase as well. The sole powertrain on the Lincoln Town Car is a SOHC V8 engine, which has a displacement of 4.6 liters . This however, disappoints on the power front, by doing only a 239 hp @ 4900 rpm. The 4 speed automatic transmission also does not step up to the mark by doing only a 16 MPG in the city. Very ordinary and also disappointing for a sedan. The new options available on the Town Car are xenon headlamps and the all new chrome alloy wheels. The Continental Edition Package, which also adds a new interior and exterior trim also adds a punch to the 2010 lineup. However, if you go in hunt for this Town Car, you wouldn’t find it from the dealers. They must be placed and specially ordered if you need one. So, its all the more special to own one! The Cargo room is ample. The Ride quality is top-notch and the Quietness of the ride is great. However, Fuel disappoints and rear visibility may be a nag for the driver.

Formula for calculating dealer cost:

  • Example: Base dealer Invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of Options + Destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes/Licensing Fees - Rebate/Incentive = True Cost (You can get the rebates, incentives & invoice options pricing at Edmunds.)
