2001 Chrysler Town & Country Extended Passenger Van takes
to the streets with three popular models, Town & Country
LX, Town & Country Lxi, and Town & Country Limited.
Each vehicle has convenient four-door entry, making the loading
of groceries, luggage, and children easier. Under the hood
is a powerful V6 engine with four-speed automatic transmission
and two-wheel front drive.
Chrysler is strong
on safety features, with such standards as ABS brakes for
negotiating emergency braking situations or stopping on adverse
terrain. Other points include driver depowered air bag, passenger
depowered air bag, and both front and rear head restraints.
A rear wiper keeps the back window clear while driving or
backing up. For the protection of younger passengers, child

is the Town & Country Limited, also accommodating seven
passengers and featuring an increase to a hefty 215 horsepower.
Side impact air bags have been added to the package, as have
front fog lights and the reassurance of traction control.
The keyless entry system appears again in this model, and
a theft deterrent system has been installed for peace of mind
while away from the vehicle. An AM/FM stereo with CD player
is included for traveling enjoyment, and finishing off the
package with luxury is the fine leather seating.
