Dakota 4WD pick up truck is offered in three tough models,
Dakota 4WD Regular Cab, 4WD Club Cab, and Dodge Dakota 4WD
Quad Cab. Under the hood, a six-cylinder engine and center
of vee camshaft combine to produce 175 horsepower. The five-speed
manual transmission and four-wheel on-demand drive maintain
power and control while towing or negotiating rough terrain.
Safety standards
include ABS brakes for emergency braking situations or stopping
in adverse road conditions. A driver depowered air bag, passenger
depowered air bag, and front head restraint system have been
installed. Front fog lights and limited slip differential
are available as options. For the protection of youngsters,
a passenger air bag cut-off capability has been integrated
into the mechanism.
