The new 2001 Honda Civic Sedan is an economical vehicle with
a full range of safety, luxury and convenience features. There
are four front wheel drive models available, the Civic DX,
LX, and EX sedans. All are equipped with SOHC, five-speed
manual transmission, and check in with an average mileage
of approximately 32/39 (city/hwy).
Safety measures
include both driver side air bag and passenger side air bag,
and an immobilizer theft-deterrent device is also included.
A 60/40 split folding
seat allows for one or both of the sides of the rear seat
to fold down for additional luggage space. Passenger enjoyment
of an AM/FM stereo with four speakers and clock is also standard.
Each model builds on the previous in terms of performance,
safety or luxury features.
The entry level
DX sedan is a responsive vehicle that handles well. It is
rated at 115 horsepower and has plenty of headroom and luggage
space. In addition to the basic features previously described,
the DX has different options and accessories that can be added.
