The successful new 2001 Mazda Tribute 4WD Sport Utility has
invaded the SUV market with four exciting models, Tribute
DX, Tribute DX V6, Tribute LX V6, and Tribute ES V6. Each
vehicle has a seating capacity of five comfortable passengers
with convenient four-door entry, and the rear seat folds down
to accommodate extra luggage. The four-wheel on-demand drive
powers through adverse weather and terrain with superior control
and maneuverability.
Safety standards
listed are driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air
bag, and both front and rear head restraints. Side impact
air bags are available as an option. A rear wiper keeps the
back window clear for better visibility while driving and
reversing, and the vehicle travels along on all-season SBR
tires. For the protection of youngsters, child safety locks
have been installed.
Luxuries are numerous,
and include the comforts of air conditioning, power door locks,
dual power mirror, and power windows. A theft deterrent system
adds peace of mind while away from the vehicle.
First in the lineup
is the Tribute DX, featuring a four-cylinder engine with DOHC
combining for 130 horsepower, with five-speed manual transmission.

Next in the lineup
is the Tribute LX V6, which witnesses the addition of front
fog lights for optimum visibility in inclement weather, and
ABS brakes and side impact air bags available. Drivers will
appreciate the cruise/speed control for highway driving, as
well as the handy keyless entry system and automatic transmission.
A moonroof/sunroof is available as an option.

At the high end,
the ES V6 combines all of the luxury, safety and performance
features of the previous models and adds a little panache.
Amenities include A/C, cruise/speed control, keyless entry
system, full power group, theft deterrent system, AM/FM stereo
with CD player, fog lights and optional ABS brakes and moonroof/sunroof.
