has a seating capacity of five comfortable passengers.
Safety features are numerous in each Pathfinder 4WD model,
and include driver side air bag, passenger side air bag, and
both front and rear head restraints. ABS brakes have been
installed for maximum control during emergency braking situations
or stopping abruptly on slippery roads. Mud & snow SBR
tires also ensure a better grip, and a rear wiper keeps the
back window clear for better visibility. For the prevention
of mishaps with youngsters, child safety locks have been included
in each vehicle. Front fog lights are included in both the
Pathfinder SE 4WD and Pathfinder LE 4WD.
Under the hood, The Pathfinder SE 4WD features a six-cylinder
engine with DOHC and 250 horsepower for definitive highway
driving and for negotiating even the toughest terrain. Transmission
is five-speed manual, and the four-wheel on-demand drive combines
with the engine's power to muscle through demanding situations.
The Pathfinder XE 4WD also has six cylinders and DOHC, with
a slight variation in horsepower at 240 Hp. The transmission
is four-speed automatic, and drive type is four-wheel on-demand.
The third variation is the Pathfinder LE 4WD, with six cylinders,
DOHC, and 240 horsepower. The transmission is again four-speed
automatic, but this time with four-wheel full-time drive.
