2001 Toyota Tundra Access pick up truck is available in three
impressive models, Tundra SR5 4WD Regular Cab, Tundra Access
SR5 4WD Extended Cab, and Tundra Access Limited 4WD Extended
Cab. Each two-door vehicle features DOHC and four-wheel on-demand
drive for power and control while negotiating challenging
terrain.
Standard safety
features include driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered
air bag, and both front and rear head restraint systems. For
the safety of children, a passenger air bag cut-off capability
has been adopted.
Starting off the
line up is the Tundra SR5 4WD Regular Cab with an impressive
eight cylinders and DOHC combining to produce 245 horsepower
to get the job done.
Transmission is
four-speed automatic, and of course the drive is four-wheel
on-demand. Air conditioning is a standard comfort for its
three passengers, and drivers will appreciate the cruise/speed
control for highway driving.

The Access SR5
4WD Extended Cab follows, with a V6 engine and 190 horsepower
humming under the hood, along with the four-wheel on-demand
drive and five-speed manual transmission.
Seating capacity
is increased to a convenient six passengers with the addition
of the extended cab. The rear seat conveniently folds down
to increase interior luggage capacity. This pick up is a handy
alternative for those who require a working vehicle that can
accommodate extra travelers.

Rounding out the
offerings is the Access Limited 4WD Extended Cab, with a switch
back up to 245 horsepower and four-speed automatic transmission,
and also with seating for six passengers due to the extra
cab space. The width is also slightly greater, with an increase
from 75.2" to 79.3" adding a bit more riding comfort.

and folding rear seat appear again at this trim level, and
other luxuries have also been included. These range from power
door locks to power mirror, power windows, and an AM/FM stereo
with CD player for cruising down the roads. The rear window
