2016 Honda Accord Coupe Overview:
About the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe
The 2016 Honda Accord Coupe is a sporty car that's available in five trims. The LX-S, EX and EX-L editions come with a four-cylinder i-VTEC engine that generates a maximum of 185 hp. Rated at 278 hp, the i-VTEC V6 engine is standard in the EX-L V6 and Touring models. Thanks to Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Control, both of these patented aluminum alloy engine blocks operate quietly.

The Six-Speed Manual Transmission (6MT) is installed in the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe LX-S, EX and EX-L V6 trims. A Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is available in the LX-S, EX and EX-L models. The 6-Speed Automatic Transmission (6AT) is optimized for the EX-L V6 and Touring editions. Sport Mode and paddler shifters are integrated into the CVT and 6AT.

The Eco Assist System is designed to improve the efficiency of the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe. When the ECON button is pushed, the powertrain operates in the most economical way possible. Colored bars near the speedometer display efficiency in real time. When equipped with the CVT, this Honda coupe gets an impressive EPA fuel economy of up to 35 MPG on the highway and 26 MPG in the city.

The high-tech interior design in the Honda Accord Coupe includes standard amenities like Bluetooth wireless connections and Pandora. EX and above trims come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to accommodate smartphone users. Hundreds of channels on HD Radio and SiriusXM Satellite Radio can be played to entertain everyone inside this cool Honda.

How to Calculate The Dealer Cost of a Honda Accord

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:

  • Example: Base Honda Accord invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of all the options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes / Licensing Fees - Rebate / Incentive = True Cost (You can get rebates, incentives & options invoice pricing here.)

Note: All Honda Accord Prices above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.

A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
