2016 Jeep Patriot Overview:
About the 2016 Jeep Patriot
The 2016 Jeep Patriot is a versatile and robust Sport Utility Vehicle that's available in Sport, Sport SE, Latitude and High Altitude trims. This Jeep has a 2.0 L I4 engine that delivers a maximum of 158 hp and 141 lb-ft of peak torque. The Sport and Latitude models can be equipped with an optional 2.4 L I4 engine that offers up to 172 hp and 165 lb-ft of torque.

As a true SUV, the 2016 Jeep Patriot boasts tremendous off-road capabilities. The Freedom Drive I package comes with a legendary 4x4 drivetrain that's engineered to handle various rough terrains. Brake Traction Control and Electronically Controlled Coupling allow this Jeep to easily navigate unpaved surfaces. With features such as Hill Descent Control and Off-Road Lock Mode, the Freedom Drive II package also enhances the capabilities of the Patriot.

Equipped with a touring suspension system, the 2016 Jeep Patriot offers a smooth ride even on bumpy roads and rugged landscapes. Roof rails make this Jeep the perfect vehicle for long road trips. Additionally, the Patriot is capable of hauling loads of up to 2,000 pounds. Round halogen front headlamps and fog lamps are among the classic features that define the stylish exterior of this 4x4 SUV.

The Jeep Patriot is designed for off-road driving, so it's only natural to have safety features such as Electronic Roll Mitigation and Electronic Stability Control. Such responsive technology ensures that this SUV doesn't overturn or go off track. Active head restraints and multistage front airbags are some of the passive safety features in the Jeep Patriot.

How to Calculate The Dealer Cost of a Jeep Patriot

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:

  • Example: Base Jeep Patriot invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of all the options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes / Licensing Fees - Rebate / Incentive = True Cost (You can get rebates and incentives here)

Note: All Jeep Patriot Prices above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.

A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
