About the 2016 Scion FR-S
While the FR-S series has existed since 2012, the 2016 release sports some brand new features. The interior of the car has been brightened by changing some components from a muted grey or black to a bright silver color. Exterior color choices for the 2016 Scion FR-S have expanded from an already impressive range of hues to include two new colors, Ablaze Red and Oceanic Blue.
Along with color palette changes, the technology within the car has been upgraded. The backup assistance camera that was previously only included in more expensive packages now is standard with the car. To add clarity and convenience, a 7” audio screen has been revamped to a bigger screen with much higher resolution. This screen includes an easy-to-use entertainment system.
The 2016 Scion FR-S is available in two trims, six-speed automatic or six-speed manual. With a fairly low price of $26,100, Scion offers sports-car handling and amazing driving dynamics on a budget.
Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:
- Example: Base Scion FR-S invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
- What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.
Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes / Licensing Fees - Rebate / Incentive = True Cost (You can get rebates and incentives here.)
Note: All Scion FR-S Prices above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.
A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
