2016 Subaru BRZ Overview:
About the 2016 Subaru BRZ
The 2016 Subaru BRZ is a stylish coupe that comes in Premium and Limited trims. Both of these editions are equipped with a 2.0 L Subaru Boxer engine that generates up to 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque. Having horizontally opposed cylinders, this signature engine block gets a fuel economy of 30 MPG on the highway and 22 MPG in the city. A six-speed manual transmission is standard in this sporty Subaru.

Like a true sports car, the 2016 Subaru BRZ has Rear Wheel Drive to optimize acceleration. The RWD gets a boost from the Vehicle Stability Control system that monitors various mechanical parameters including wheel speed. The Traction Control System also ensures that the Subaru BRZ grips the road even on slick or rough surfaces in inclement weather.

An Electric Power Assisted Steering system gives the driver good leverage in handling the Subaru BRZ. A four-wheel independent suspension system ensures a smooth and quiet ride even at high speeds. All four wheels come with ventilated disc brakes to deliver superior stopping power on demand. Brake Assist also provides some help in bringing the Subaru BRZ to a halt in dangerous situations that may lead to accidents.

The sporty cockpit in the 2016 Subaru BRZ includes an instrument cluster that is inspired by racing cars. The dashboard comes with the signature Subaru STARLINK system, which has a 6.2-inch touchscreen for easy controls. The eight-speaker sound system is perfect for playing popular music through SiriusXM Satellite Radio and HD Radio channels.

How to Calculate The Dealer Cost of a Subaru BRZ

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:

  • Example: Base Subaru BRZ invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of all the options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes / Licensing Fees - Rebate / Incentive = True Cost (You can get rebates and incentives here)

Note: All Subaru BRZ Prices above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.

A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
