1. Limited Cargo and Cabin Space
This issue is pretty common for the segment. Both the 2021 Jaguar F-TYPE coupe and convertible lack cabin space, and cargo space is extremely limited. You can fit a suitcase back there, and that is about it. You will not be able to tote a golf bag full of clubs to the course. Taller drivers will also find that the roofline sits low, causing their heads to bump up against the headliner. That means they will have to slouch.
2. A Jarring Ride Quality
This vehicle is definitely sporty, and that means the ride quality can become a bit too jarring. If you are used to a smooth, compliant ride, then the F-TYPE might throw you for a loop. You can get adaptive dampers as an option, and they help smooth out the ride. But that, of course, means that you will have to spend more money.
3. A Glitchy Infotainment System
Jaguar's infotainment system is too glitchy for the liking. If you are willing to pay a bit more, the 2021 BMW 8 Series is a cool ride that is all about performance. Its engine options are phenomenal when it comes to power output and acceleration. Additionally, the vehicle balances power with comfort. Taking a long ride in the 8 Series is sheer delight. The interior is extremely elegant, and you even get a bit more cargo space than you might assume just by looking at the vehicle. The rear seats are really cramped though, rendering them mostly useless. Also, outward visibility is hindered by the sloping roofline and roof pillars.
The 2021 Jaguar F-TYPE makes for one exciting ride. The V8 engine is superb, and the interior is decked out in some lovely upholstery and soft touch surfaces.
