What's New for the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?
The Pacifica was reintroduced for the 2017 model year, so changes are minimal for this brand-new generation. However, take note of the all-new base trim, which offers plenty of standard features at a new lower price point. Every trim also boasts an upgraded infotainment system with an enlarged screen and both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic detection is also a new standard feature.

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica has seating for seven, or eight if you opt for the middle seat in the second row. LATCH hardware can accommodate four child safety seats. You'll have 32 cubic feet of cargo space with all the seats in use and an incredible 140 cubic feet with the seats folded flat.
In addition to the upgraded infotainment system described above, the new L trim comes with power windows in the first and second rows and a six-speaker stereo system. The Touring L Plus adds comforts like a power-adjustable passenger seat, heated steering wheel and second-row seats, a household-style power outlet, a premium Alpine audio system, an upgraded infotainment system with navigation and a larger touchscreen, and two rear-seat entertainment screens.
In the top of the line Limited, you'll get all that plus a hands-free power liftgate and sliding rear doors, an integrated vacuum cleaner, power-folding third-row seats, and fully climate-controlled front seats.
2018 Chrysler Pacifica drivers will enjoy the power of a V6 engine that provides 287 horsepower. It's equipped with front-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission. You'll also enjoy best-in-class fuel economy of 18 city/28 highway miles per gallon, outstanding for a minivan. Drivers who want an even better value at the pump can opt for the hybrid version of the Pacifica, which provides 260 hp, can go up to 30 miles with a fully charged battery, and has a combined city/highway rating of 84 mpg.
In addition to a wealth of driver assistance technology, the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica boasts some of the best safety scores in the auto industry. It's a Top Safety Pick of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and has earned a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration.
Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:
- Example: Base Chrysler Pacifica invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
- What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.
Total Dealer Cost - Rebate and Incentive + Taxes / Licensing Fees = True Dealer Cost. (You can get rebates and incentives here.)
Note: All Chrysler Pacifica MSRP, invoice and dealer cost dollar figures above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.
A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
