The new 2019 Chrysler Pacifica shows us what an upgraded and modern minivan should look like. When designing this vehicle, Chrysler engineers paid a lot of attention to the interior and storage space. This car can seat seven passengers, while the still have lots of room for cargo during those long road trips.
There are six main trim levels the customers can choose from depending on their needs. These levels are: The L and LX, Touring Plus and Touring L, as well as the Touring L Plus and Limited which is the most luxurious. Even though the names may not be expressive, the trim levels vary based on the inventory price which starts from $26,985 for trim level L and can reach $44,445 for trim level Limited. There is also a separate Hybrid version of this model, which depending on your state can be eligible for government rebates.
The Pacifica comes with a standard 3.6 liter V6 engine and front-wheel drive for all its trim levels. This engine generates 287HP and it comes with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission. The fuel mileage is also very important for a Minivan, so the Pacifica comes with 18-19 mpg city/28 mpg highway.
The Pacifica L is Chrysler’s base trim for this model. It has the price of $26,985, but it is equipped with a reasonable number of features and it has the same generous space the other trims provide. In its standard features, we can count some of the important ones: 17-inch steel wheels, 7-inch touch screen which can be used by both Apple and Android smartphone users, dual-zone climate, keyless entry, blind spot monitoring and other small, but important features, such as a USB port, voice control and Bluetooth.
The Pacifica LX trim level features: automatic headlights, information display available for the driver, automatic start-stop engine system, tri-zone climate control and the possibility of folding the second row of seats.
For the next trim level, the Touring Plus, Chrysler has added LED taillights, automatic climate control, chrome exterior trim, remote engine start, full keyless entry, satellite radio and power-sliding rear doors.
Moving to Touring L, the standard equipment includes heated front seats, retractable sunshades for the second and third rows, leather upholstery and eight-way power passenger seat with power lumbar adjustment.
As the Touring L Plus is getting closer to the full-option equipment, it has an upgraded driver info display and sound-reducing windshield, a heated steering wheel and heated second-row seats, a bigger 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, ambient lighting and an Alpine audio system.
Limited is Chrysler’s top-notch trim level for the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and apart from having all the specifications mentioned in the lower-equipped trim versions, it also includes other important ones. These include 18-inch wheels, memory settings for the driver’s seat, premium leather upholstery, hands-free lift-gate and sliding doors, auto-dimming exterior, rearview mirrors and even an in-vehicle vacuum cleaner.
If for some customers the Limited is not even enough, Pacifica has some other additional features that can be added at an additional cost: 20-inch wheels and a 20-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
The Chrysler Pacifica can provide entertainment choices for the whole family during long and short drives. It has many high-tech features to be used by adults, but also by the children in the vehicle. Besides the comfortable seats and the large space this car provides, it can also be equipped with the dual 10-inch HD touchscreen that is equipped with a Blu-Ray player. This can be a great asset for long drives and a great entertainment source for the family.
When it comes to technology, Chrysler has invested a lot in the standard electronic stability system. How does this technology work? When the car is running beyond 28 mph, the system will apply selective braking and even throttle control if it is necessary. These features help maintain the control and stability of the minivan.
Safety is one of the most important features for most minivan owners, so the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica has been engineered to keep families as safe as possible. This car has been rated five-out-of-five-star by the Traffic Safety Administration in 2019 during its crash testing.
Parking assistance is also one of the key safety features Pacifica focuses on. It has a 360-degree surround view camera positioned around the vehicle, so the driver can have the full picture of the car while parking.
The car can also be equipped with collision warning systems, which are both audible and visual. These systems will warn the driver and even apply emergency braking so possible collisions can be avoided.

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:
- Example: Base Chrysler Pacifica invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
- What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.
Total Dealer Cost - Rebate and Incentive + Taxes / Licensing Fees = True Dealer Cost. (You can get rebates and incentives here.)
Note: All Chrysler Pacifica MSRP, invoice and dealer cost dollar figures above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.
A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
