The 2018 Ford Fiesta can be obtained as either a sedan or a hatchback. When needed, it can accommodate up to five people. - Ford engineered the Fiesta ST to be one of the most fun-to-drive cars in its price range. It is only available as a sporty hatchback. Motivating the Fiesta ST is a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which develops 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque. Sports-tuned shocks and performance tires allow the ST trim to handle especially well.
- Aside from the base Fiesta, all of the other trims can be fitted with a sunroof and navigation. A sharp-looking SE Appearance package is available as well.
How Does It Drive?
The 2018 Ford Fiesta gets top marks for its tight handling. No other car in the segment has a more communicative steering system. Although the base engine may not scream performance, it works well for the purpose of commuting. On the other hand, the Fiesta ST delivers pure driving excitement. Great outward visibility also helps Fiesta drivers to see the entire road.
Like the majority of today’s subcompact cars, the 2018 Ford Fiesta is fuel-efficient. While manual models will return around 27 mpg in town and 35 mpg on the highway, the automatic transmission boosts efficiency to 37 mpg on the highway. Although the racy ST model can deliver up to 33 mpg, it requires premium fuel for optimum performance.
