What's New For 2018
Because the QX30 was just introduced last year, there are no changes or improvements for the 2018 model year. Everything from 2017 has remained the same.
A Speedy Compact Crossover SUV That's a Blast to Drive
The 2018 Infiniti QX30 has many appealing things about it – its powerful engine, attractive exterior and plenty of luxury offerings. The other great thing about the QX30 is its price point --- where many people are turned away from the premium prices for Infinti's other SUVs and vehicles, the QX30 is an entry-level crossover and therefore the most affordable among Infiniti's offerings.
It's powered by a turbocharged 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine that makes an impressive 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, the QX30 has impressive handling that take on even the toughest road conditions in rain, snow, or ice. The engine's paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers plenty of power to the wheels. In a road test conducted by Motor Trend magazine, the QX30 with AWD hit 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds and came to a stop from that speed in just 113 feet. Not only is it speedy, but it'll bring you to a complete stop quickly for safety reasons, which provides drivers with peace of mind.
Available Options and Trim Packages
Being a luxury crossover, the QX30 has plenty to offer at the base level, but for those drivers who want to take their driving experience to the next level, upper trim levels offer even more creature comforts.
The base model 2018 Infiniti QX30 includes an illuminated entry system, a leatherette-stitched dashboard and console, power lumbar support on the front seats for comfortable sitting with eight manually adjustable levels and LED daytime running lights. The outside mirrors fold toward the vehicle for a compact look, and they're also heated to keep off snow and ice and illuminated for added safety. The infotainment center features a 7-inch touchscreen and two USB ports for charging two smart devices simultaneously. Standard safety features include a rearview camera for safe reversing, electronic stability control and front, side and knee airbags.
QX30 Luxury: Upgrading to this trim level includes all of the standard features mentioned above, but instead of Fibretec upholstery, the seats are leather and heated.
QX30 Premium: This trim level includes a panoramic sunroof, a 10-speaker BOSE audio system, LED fog lights and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
QX30 Sport: This model's equipped with sporty seats and 19-inch gun metallic aluminum alloy wheels.
A wide array of packages are also available to add onto the QX30 to further personalize it to your liking, including an LED package, technology package and sport leather package.
The 2018 Infiniti QX30 is a good SUV if you're in the market for an affordable, luxurious vehicle that can be a daily driver or just as easily function as a weekend vacation getaway car.
Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:
- Example: Base Infiniti QX30 invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
- What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.
Total Dealer Cost - Rebate and Incentive + Taxes / Licensing Fees = True Dealer Cost. (You can get rebates and incentives here.)
Note: All Infiniti QX30 MSRP, invoice and dealer cost dollar figures above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.
A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
