Infiniti QX30 Overview:

The 2019 Infiniti QX30 is the car brand’s smallest and most affordable subcompact SUV. Infiniti is Nissan’s luxury brand, making it an appealing option for those who prefer the finer things in life. With its stylish exterior and elegant interior, the SUV is sure to appeal to all types of consumers.

What’s New for 2019?

For 2019, Infiniti made its forward collision mitigation feature standard. The car maker changed the names of its trim levels to Pure, Luxe, Sport and Essential. Infiniti also made the panoramic sunroof a standard feature for its higher trim levels. The car brand brought the QX30 out in 2017, so the 2019 model is a part of the original generation, which means that only a few changes were made.

What Styles are Available?

The 2019 Infiniti QX30 is available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The Sport trim offers a few different features. This model is front-wheel drive, and it is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension that’s slightly lower than the regular model.

There are also options like the City Black package, which gives the Sport an edgier look. This package comes with special wheels in addition to a black and purple cabin trim.

What are the Trim Options?

You can get the 2019 Infiniti QX30 in four different trims. These are the Pure, Luxe, Sport and Essential. Each one is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Infiniti paired the engine with a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. With the vehicle, front-wheel drive comes standard while all-wheel drive is available as an option.

The Pure trim comes with 18-inch wheels as well as all-season run-flat tires that are just the right size. These tires also keep you safer out there on the road. Infiniti’s Pure trim features keyless entry and ignition, which adds convenience, while additions like dual-zone climate control and cloth upholstery provide comfort. Infiniti added value to the vehicle model by offering plenty of technology. With the Pure trim, you’ll have a rearview camera, a 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth.

The Luxe trim kicks the amenities up a few notches. If you purchase a 2019 Infiniti QX30 Luxe model, you’ll have a vehicle with a panoramic sunroof for those days when you want to drive around with the sun shining in. This model also comes with simulated-leather upholstery and power-adjustable heated front seats.

Slightly up the trim ladder is the Essential trim, and this model comes with style accessories like exterior chrome accents along with a premium 10-speaker Bose audio system. The Essential trim has added safety equipment such as a blind-spot monitoring system and adaptive LED headlights. These are safety features that keep you safe without being invasive about it.

The thing about choosing a higher-level trim is that you have the option of making it even better with optional equipment. For the Luxe and the Essential trims, you can get amenities like 19-inch wheels and a surround-view camera system. You’ll love the surround-view camera because it adds a safety element to the vehicle as well as being a feature that will help you keep your vehicle free of dents and dings.

The QX30’s Sport trim is a specialty model, one that comes with many of the options and features that are added to the lower trims. The Sport has 19-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with faux-leather and simulated-suede upholstery. You can even get nice options like navigation and Infiniti’s ProAssist package, which consists of driver aids such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning, with a Sport.

Driving Experience

In the QX30, Infiniti brought consumers a vehicle that combines zippy acceleration with sharp handling and a small overall footprint. You’ll appreciate the way that the SUV tackles the road and the ease of merging it into heavy traffic. In testing, the vehicle reached a speed of 60 miles per hour in just 6.9 seconds. To stop, the 2019 Infiniti QX30 needed 109 feet, a good result for a vehicle of this size and weight.

Fuel Economy

When the vehicle’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is paired with front-wheel drive, the 2019 Infiniti QX30 is able to get 24 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon during highway trips. With all-wheel drive, the small SUV is able to achieve 21 miles per gallon on regular roadways and 30 miles per gallon at highway speeds.

Small in Size and Big in Attitude

The Infiniti QX30 may be small in size, but it is big in attitude. You’re bound to love driving this little SUV around town, and the cargo area is large enough to haul around your groceries or kid’s soccer equipment. With this SUV in your garage, you’ll have a vehicle that you can’t wait to drive.

How to Calculate The Dealer Cost of a Infiniti QX30:

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:

  • Example: Base Infiniti QX30 invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost - Rebate and Incentive + Taxes / Licensing Fees = True Dealer Cost. (You can get rebates and incentives here.)

Note: All Infiniti QX30 MSRP, invoice and dealer cost dollar figures above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.

A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
