There are many ways to drive the Pacifica. The gas-powered Pacifica comes in Touring, Touring L, Touring Plus and Limited editions. The hybrid comes in a Touring L, Touring Plus and Limited editions. This year only there’s a 35th anniversary model for each trim level.

Shoppers should note that the former lineup has been altered, dropping the lowest trim edition. This slot has been reassigned to the Pacifica spin-off known as the Chrysler Voyager.

The minivan has won awards from Consumer Guide, Consumers Digest, and other reviewers. More importantly, it has a five-star federal safety rating. That’s backed up by a Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

When it was first introduced, it could claim some 40 original minivan features. This included the tri-pane moonroof, which is available on the hybrids and on the Limited. The sliding doors that can be operated hands-free are another first.

A premium ride, you only have to step up to the Touring L to get leather seats. Each level brings more luxuries, and there are special packages that add color and style. Color choices include alloy, black, deep mocha, rodeo red, and toffee. There are accents in wine or gray. Exterior colors include three metallics, four pearls, and three clear coats.
