About the 2016 Nissan GT-R
The 2016 Nissan GT-R is a luxurious sports car that's available in Premium, 45TH Anniversary Gold Edition, Black Edition and Nismo trims. Under the hood of this muscular Nissan is a 3.8 L twin-turbocharged engine that whips out 545 horsepower and 463 pound-feet of torque. Made from lightweight aluminum, this signature V6 engine block is exclusively crafted and assembled by hand rather than in a mass production fashion.

The trademark ATTESA E-TS All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is the standard drivetrain in the 2016 Nissan GT-R. This advanced AWD generates a 50/50 split design to evenly distribute torque among all four wheels. A six-speed transmission system with dual clutch offers three driving modes include the R-Mode for optimum performance at highway speeds. Predictive pre-shift control is another innovative feature in this transmission system.

As a high-end sports car, the 2016 GT-R is equipped with a Bilstein DampTronic Suspension System that can be set to three different modes. This cutting-edge suspension system makes real-time adjustments to stabilize the chassis. A speed-sensitive power steering system is another feature that boosts the handling of this Nissan. The Patented Nissan Brembo braking system delivers powerful stopping force.

The Nissan GT-R's sporty cockpit comes with a seven-inch touchscreen that's linked to a Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System. A subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio includes NavTraffic and NavWeather. Additionally, SiriusXM Satellite Radio music could be blasted through the Bose Audio System that comes with 11 speakers. This premium sound system also uses Active Noise Control to improve acoustics.

How to Calculate The Dealer Cost of a Nissan GT-R

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:

  • Example: Base Nissan GT-R invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of all the options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes / Licensing Fees - Rebate / Incentive = True Cost (You can get rebates and incentives here)

Note: All Nissan GT-R Prices above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.

A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
