The 2022 Ford Expedition is a large SUV with three rows of seats. It can accommodate between five to eight people, depending on the model. The entire cabin is massive with plenty of headroom and legroom for everyone to ride comfortably. There's also an available 104.6 cubic-feet of cargo space in this beast. The Expedition has decent off-road capabilities and can even tow up to 9,300 pounds.

There are a total of 10 trim levels for the 2022 Ford Expedition. The standard engine is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 with twin turbochargers. This power-plant makes 380 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The stock powertrain also gets a 10-speed automatic transmission. Most of the trim levels are available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variations.

Some of the remaining Co-Pilot360™ features for this trim include a rear-view camera, Pre-Collision Assist and a Lane-Keeping system.

The next trim level up from the base model is called the XLT. This model also has the Co-Pilot360™ Technology, but adds a few more features. It offers Lane-Centering Assist, Trailer-Backup Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with a special start-and-stop feature. Both trim levels have an AM/FM stereo with a six-speaker sound system. The XLT trim adds compatibility for SiriusXM Radio.

Both trims have Ford's SYNC 4 Infotainment System with a 12-inch touchscreen. There's also a separate 8-inch productivity screen located in the gauge cluster. The infotainment system has Bluetooth and Voice-Command for music streaming and hands-free operation of certain features. There are Smart-Charging USB ports. The XLT gets extra USB ports and the option for wireless charging for smartphones and other devices.

Every trim level offers power locks and windows. These two trims get an 8-way power driver's seat and a 4-way manual seat for the front passenger. The XLT has three rows of seats while the XL STX only has two. The XL STX can accommodate five people, while the XLT can seat eight. Both of these trims have Tri-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control and an air filter for the cabin.

Not only does the XLT have more seats, but it has more ways to entertain the backseat passengers too. A rear-seat entertainment system is available, complete with screens on the headrests. For the exterior, both trims come with a manual tailgate and LED reflector headlights. There are LED taillights and turn signals as well. There are roof racks with side bars.
