It provides a brand new interface with a capacitive touchscreen. The system features swipe and pinch functionality. This technology is similar to the gestures now used on tablets and smartphones. For 2016, Ford made remote keyless entry and an alarm system standard on the Fiesta.

The 2016 Ford Fiesta is available in either a hatchback or sedan style. A 1.6L four-cylinder engine comes standard. A turbocharged 1.0L three-cylinder engine is available. The five-speed manual transmission is standard. A six-speed automatic transmission is optional on the four-cylinder model.

There are four different trims on the 2016 Fiesta. Customers can choose from S, SE, Titanium and the ST trim. The ST trim is a performance-oriented, hatchback. It features a 1.6 L four-cylinder engine, a six-speed manual transmission, and a sport-tuned suspension. All models seat five passengers comfortably.

The Fiesta offers agile handling. This makes it a fun car to drive. In addition, the Fiesta also offers a comfortable ride. The performance-oriented Fiesta ST with its turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivers athletic handling and ample power.

Fuel Economy
The base 2016 Fiesta has a fuel economy estimate of 27 city MPG and 37 highway MPG. These are decent fuel economies for this class. The three-cylinder turbocharged Fiesta provides 31 city and 43 highway MPG. These are excellent numbers for this class.

How to Calculate The Dealer Cost of a Ford Fiesta

Formula for Calculating Dealer Cost:

  • Example: Base Ford Fiesta invoice price + the dealer Invoice price of all the options + destination - Holdback = Total Dealer Cost.
  • What is Holdback? A hidden amount that manufacturers give back to a dealer. It is a percentage of the MSRP or the Invoice price.

Total Dealer Cost (calculated above) + Taxes / Licensing Fees - Rebate / Incentive = True Cost (You can get rebates and incentives here)

Note: All Ford Fiesta Prices above are approximate amounts. Prices are subject to change without notice.

A note about rebates: Most rebates are subtracted from the "on the road" figure. In most cases, you can have the rebate if you are arranging your own financing or you are paying cash. If you decide to use the manufacturer’s low interest financing, you do not usually get the rebate. Ask your dealer for details.
